Thing and Human Entanglements in Rumer Godden's The Dolls' House

As part of my research for the miniature worlds and little people book I am working on at the moment (tentatively called Miniature Fantasies, with a sub-title still to be finalized), I have been reading Rumer Godden’s children’s books, many of which feature as protagonists small dolls in dolls’ houses.
